Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a valued client. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform invoice coding and ensure proper approval routing
• Execute 2- and 3-way matching (invoice, PO, receiving) as applicable
• Manage vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support month-end close activities related to Accounts Payable
• Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation
• Collaborate closely with the accounting team and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
• Strong understanding of full-cycle Accounts Payable processes
• Experience working in high-volume or fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
